New Album
Urusen are very excited to announce that at the end of November they will begin work on the follow up to One Day in June and the band have enlisted the services of producer Steve Osborne, who's made records with Elbow, KT Tunstall, Doves, PJ Harvey and many others. They will be recording the new album at Peter Gabriel’s world famous Real World Studios in Box, Wiltshire.
The album will feature songs the band have written and performed over the past couple of years, along with brand new material that they have been working on over recent months. It will be the first “full band” record from the band and is slated for release in summer 2011.
With details still to be confirmed over plans for the New Year, the guys would love you to follow their progress whilst they’re away. There will be regular contributions to the blog, as well as updates on the Urusen facebook and twitter pages.
Finally, Pete, Ben, Nick, Jay & Kieran would all like to extend a big thank you to everyone who’s supported the band over the last couple of years. In particular, a big thank you to all the people who’ve come to see them at gigs and festivals – without you the band would not be in this position or have this fantastic opportunity - see you all next year!
